I’ve seen every kind of specialist under the sun and [Dr Kieckbush] was the only one who said, ‘this is your nerves,’ and then he got me on the road to recovery pretty quickly. Even the brightness and friendliness of the staff put me in a better mood.

From the minute you walk in, everyone is so pleasant, so nice. They really care. It wasn’t run like a business where it’s quick in and out in half an hour. They take the time you need. Amy sees a lot of military and firefighters with my same injury. She was very encouraging and told me, ‘we can help you out. If it wasn’t for Joel, my wife wouldn’t be back at work.

I love Joel [Peck]. He was super knowledgeable and was able to explain what was going on so that I understood exactly why we were doing what we were doing. Before I wasn’t able to work out, lift weights or do yoga. And I woke up every night in pain. Now I can do all the things I want to do.

Dr. Dolan acknowledged my fears and needs and desire to get back to my life. He made me feel like I wasn’t a nuisance or a complainer. Dr. Dolan’s consideration of my needs, to make sure I wasn’t in pain, was incredible. It is such a blessing I ended up having my surgery with Dr. Dolan.

I will follow Amy wherever she goes. I relate to her because of her approach, and I trust her judgment and treatment plan(s) without hesitation.

I completed my physical therapy (PT) with GBO, after my ACL surgery with GBO’s Dr. Fyda, and I have nothing but rave reviews for both medical teams. I really liked that they had a genuine interest in my recovery, and getting me back to the level of physical ability I had before my injury, so I can go back to enjoying horseback riding, hiking, backpacking and skiing, among other things. They listened to my concerns, gave me tools I could use between appointments and gauged my recovery to make sure I was staying on track.

I’ve been working with GBO’s physical therapy team for several months, since having knee surgery with Dr. Fyda. They make sure I know what’s going on at all times, often answering my questions before I can ask them. Amy (Wehnemeyer, PT, DPT, CSCS) is always gentle and cautious, without babying me. She explains what I should be doing at home and what to expect when I went back to work. And she’s always right, to the tee. I also like how well everyone seems to get along. They work well together.

Great Basin Orthopaedics and Dr. Dolan are outstanding. Had issue diagnosed quickly putting my mind at ease and treatment was set up for my care. Pain was substantially reduced after initial visit.

Dr. Dooley saw me right on time, was very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. When I arrived at Great Basin Orthopaedics I was in pain. When I left Dr. Dooley's office I felt great. A Doctor visit does not get any better than that.
