We show up for our community

When you’re out and about in Northern Nevada, you’ll see us on the fields and courts of the Wolf Pack, in the staging areas at the Reno Rodeo, and at local high school games. We are the official Orthopaedic Consultants for the University of Nevada Wolf Pack, part of the Justin Sportsmedicine Team® and consult with various Northern Nevada high school athletic departments.

I can not thank Dr. Dickens enough!!!! He got my daughter in the following Monday after her injury and then surgery the next day!!! So great full and thankful for him! He did awesome job as well with the surgery! Hardly don't see the scar!

Dr. Dickens is a great surgeon he has done now over 4 surgeries after I was in a motorcycle accident when a car hit me. He has really been an advocate for me and for getting things taken care of. Plus his positive attitude and encouragement is second to none.

Great Basin Orthopedics repaired my elbow accident and recently performed a total hip replacement. The elbow outcome was excellent using GBO's Physical Therapy services and I am hopeful the hip will be better than new in a short while. Stephen Capel was my therapist for the elbow and is now for my hip. I have full confidence with him.

The referral to the Physical Therapy Specialists was great! I really appreciate the efficiency of this practice in terms of taking me back at my scheduled appointment time, efficiency through x-ray, and not having to wait for the doctor. These attributes really made the experience.

Dr. Kieckbusch showed me the x-rays and explained the problem and said when I was ready he would correct the problem. Very good personality and explained it so I understood it. Will definitely go back when I'm ready.

The staff at Great Basin are the best I've ever encountered. I can't pick just one because they all work so well together and step in when needed to complete a task. I really thought it was amazing. AND all were so friendly and interested.

I hurt my foot playing softball last summer. My friend referred me to Great Basin Orthopaedics. The doctors were super nice, and the employees were super nice, too. I hope to be back on the softball field this summer.

I love how smoothly everything runs here. My doctor is amazing the nurse is great too. From checking in, to follow ups to my surgery (ACL) everything went so smoothly and even my post op care. I wish all my doctors outside ortho would go so smoothly! Great job guys!
